BYRON BURGER NEW SUMMER MENU

Byron Burger has long been a staple pit stop on the high street for burger lovers across the UK, which means that this burger chain knows a thing or two about making tasty burgers that keep hungry customers coming back time and time again.

That’s why FOOD4FEAST were thrilled to be invited to the press launch of Byron’s new summer menu, complete with not one, but two brand new vegan burgers plus some tasty salads, punchy cocktails and heavenly ice creams.

We were greeted with a tray of picture-worthy cocktails to try, which were the Salted Lime Margarita and Grapefruit G&T (two of the four in the new selection). We sampled them both (numerous times throughout duration of the evening – hiccup!) but gravitated more towards the zingy and fresh G&T, simply because it was a little lighter. The margarita was full of flavour and packed a lot of punch, which meant drink just one or two of these cocktails was plenty.

The stand out burger for us both (baring in mind one of us is veggie and the other not) was The Vegan Truffler burger. Comprised of a Beyond Meat patty, with a vegan truffle ‘cheese’ fondue, truffle mayonnaise, pickled red cabbage and crispy fried onions this burger had everything. The taste was unreal, the texture just like a meat burger, and it smelled and looked incredible. We’re not ashamed to admit we had more than one of these delights each!

Another tasty highlight we wholly recommend trying are Byron’s new, perfectly seasoned, crispy on the outside, gooey on the inside halloumi fries alongside the Cali Cheese burger, which delivers on flavour with every bite. You can taste every inch of the garlic aoili, smoked ketchup and vegan cheddar ‘cheese’ flavour working in harmony with the talent that is the Beyond Meat patty.

Dessert didn’t let the rest of the menu down either! The latest addition to the Byron dessert menu are their 100% natural artisanal ice lollies, available four flavours: milk chocolate, vegan oranges and lemons, strawberries and cream and vegan pineapple and coconut. Full of flavour and light enough to enjoy after an unforgettable burger without feeling too overindulged.

We had an unbelievably fab night with Byron and the team, sipping on cocktails, making the most of the photo booth and of course, sampling the fantastic food. Whether your veggie, vegan or a meat eater, Byron have all your burger needs covered, and we’ll certainly be making a trip back soon!
